Victor Moga

Dr. Victor Moga, a native of Romania, has been fascinated by the marvelous ability of the human mind to produce emotions and ideas since early adolescence, when he began reading books on psychology, philosophy, and religion. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Liberty University. He further pursued his fascination with the world of ideas at Yale University, from which he received a Master of Divinity. After graduate school, Dr. Moga paused his education to focus on raising and homeschooling their three children. While working as a behavioral health technician for The Remuda Ranch Center for Anorexia and Bulimia, he became interested in psychiatry and rechanneled his career pursuits into psychiatric nursing. Dr. Moga obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Arizona University and both his Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of South Alabama.
As a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Moga has been treating children, adolescents, and adults suffering from common psychiatric conditions such as depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, ADHD, insomnia, and psychotic disorders. Dr. Moga also has extensive experience in treating eating and feeding disorders, trauma-related disorders, and autism spectrum disorder. He provides services at The Meadows – a nationally recognized treatment center for trauma, eating disorders, and addictions. He also treats children and adolescents, on an outpatient basis, at Touchstone Health Services. Concomitantly with treating patients, Dr. Moga consistently shares his knowledge and experience with Nurse Practitioner students.
Dr. Moga enjoys being married to his wife of 34 years. He and his wife have three wonderful adult children, two daughters-in-law, and one precious grandson. He enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, reading, traveling, and skiing.
